Wellington's favourite offbeat game development conference is back for our fifth year! Play by Play is a New Zealand games conference with a difference, where we aim to provide attendees with a curated smorgasbord of eclectic content, bespoke knowledge and oft unexplored realms of our craft.

Since our inception in 2016, we’ve grown exponentially, proving that there’s a vibrant community of gamers, enthusiasts and curious folk in the play sphere. Further to our flagship conference, we host networking events and professional development workshops for industry players.

This year, we invite you to learn and share with us as we explore our theme for 2020: Bigger than we know.
